Day 41 London Ontario to Brantford Ontario

Day 41
It's green along the way and cool today. Two new crops appear today. Tobacco and ginseng, which is grown under the tarps because apparently ginseng does not like direct sunlight. The tobacco is sold to major ciggy makers and the ginseng is 100% export to the orient. Apparently high quality.

There is a fruit stand along the way which is highly regarded by our staff. Most riders stop for nectaines, peaches, cherries...all the things we have not had much of. A cherry pit contest takes place with dubious techniues and wanton cheating...imagine that.

A really nice break in the pedaling action. We do finally arrive in Brantford. The city is going through a lot of demolition with some rebuilding but it looks like a distressed area.
