Whew...a rest day...nice...the weather is good so we're up at the crack of 9. Laundry has piled up so Ian, my bunkie and I walk to the closest laundromat...2 miles away...lovely...found a nice little genuine Italian sandwich shop and had a great sandwich...yeah, for breakfast!
So then we're off across the border, walking again, back into Canada...over the Rainbow Bridge, yeah the one behind me..and no, I'm not asleep here...
So as we were walking over the bridge, we saw these two beauties headed back to the US...a 40 Ford(yellow one) and maybe a 41 Willys(ok, its the blue one!) sweet rides!
Those are American Falls behind me here...they're not as awesome as the horseshoe falls on the Canadian side...and if you want to go over the falls in a barrel, I hope you choose the Canadian side(not so many rocks over there)...well, good luck with that!
This is a view from Rainbow Bridge...both sets of falls...US on the left and Canada on the right with some of the skyline...and here's a cool garden along the Canadian side
American Falls here and and then the Canaadian side...
You can walk right to the edge of the Canadian side...pretty impressive ...the water is about 5-6 feet deep it looks like but flowing about 10 knots or so...

And here's the Queen of the Mist... if you want a tour of wet stuff...
and another pic of the Canadian skyline...lots of tourist stuff on the Canadian side...Ian and I had a beer uptown...7 bucks a piece...yeah, that's what we thought too.
and a kiss for you...all in all, a very nice rest day... except for walking about 10 miles...Customs wanted to check us for sanity when they heard we were bicycling across the country...
